Icon List

An icon list reinforces the meaning and visibility of individual list items with a leading icon.

This component is based on USWDS.

Basic icon list:

• Text here
• Recommend using the same icon, but it’s not required
• It will only render as the “icon block” if all bullets have their own icon
• The basic icon list will always have the same color icons, regardless of the theme.

How to author:

• Create a bulleted list using this format:

  

• You can replace the icons with any of the 243 icons included in USWDS.

Big icon list:

• Text Here
  use shift+enter to add a new line; in the authoring interface it will look like part of the header, but on the user-side this part will be transformed into normal paragraph text

• Accessibility Considerations
  headers must always be followed by text, so don’t forget that line break

• Icon Colors
  This big list’s icons will change color depending on which theme you’re leveraging for the site.

How to author:

• Follow the same steps as the basic icon list, but style your list as an h2, h3, or h4. With your list selected choose the appropriate style from the DA menu:
